Death Movie A Go

Thanks to Sasha who sent in this great news, gleaned from IGN.news:

April 10, 2000
A Dance with Death: Neil Gaiman announces major news about the big screen Death: The High Cost of Living pic, and more.

We want a girl who looks like Death warmed over.
Neil Gaiman is cool. His work is cool, and his sense of what’s cool is cool. So when he announced Saturday that he would be not only writing but also directing the film adaptation of Death: The High Cost of Living for Warner Brothers, you know what we were thinking: “Damn, which hottie will be playing the cutest goth in the Endless?”

We pried a little info out of Neil on that one, but you’ll need to click back Wednesday for our exclusive interview with Mr. G.”

So, yes, apparently Neil is *finally* getting DEATH: THE HIGH COST OF LIVING made. Although, the full interview isn’t available till tommorow, another site Corona also advises that *Miramax* (not Warners) will be doing it.

The article goes on to mention that Miramax has also snagged the film rights to Chivalry (from the Smoke & Mirrors collection) and that Sunbow Entertainment (now owned by Sony) will be working on an animated TV series based on The Day I Swapped My Dad for Two Goldfish! Wow!
