Actually, the only recent clip to add is an article by Bruce Owen that ran in today’s Winnipeg Free Press about how police are still attempting to catch the person who last summer used a con similar to the one in American Gods to rob a mall; the article quotes Neil’s blog entry from Sept. 11.

Following the success of Neil Gaiman’s first novel for children,Coraline, Sarah Odedina at Bloomsbury has signed up his second, The Graveyard Book, which is as yet unwritten but “promises to be an astounding, challenging and chilly read about a young boy brought up by various spectral inhabitants of a graveyard”. Bloomsbury bought UK and Commonwealth rights from Dorie Simmonds for publication in 2004.

Matt from Shocklines posted to YahooGroups that Night Shade Books was publishing Thackery T. Lambshead Pocket Guide to Eccentric and Discredited Diseases, edited by Jeff VanderMeer & Mark Roberts, around Halloween. Neil contributes an ailment to it.
