This is the book with Neil’s poem, “Instructions”, as well as redone versions of fairy tales ranging from Cinderella (Jane Yolen’s “Cinder Elephant”) to Jack and the Beanstalk (Michael Cadnum’s “Mrs. Big”).
The audience is 8-12 year olds (you’ll find it in with the Young Reader books, rather than Young Adult), but the stories work for us older folks as well.
