And I’m trumped by Evadne again (grin) Dream Weaver: Sandman author Neil Gaiman finds magic in the damnedest place – by Robert Wilonsky. Also from Evadne, Neil gets namedchecked in the Dallas Observer review of The Cell. Not surprisingly, Wilonsky is the author of this article as well.
The Sandman Archives has high-quality scans of bump-mapped Sandman (and other Gaiman comics) covers using a Java applet for a very neat effect.
Dagbladet.no has an interview with Neil. I don’t understand the introduction (it’s in Norweigan) but he appears to be answering questions from either an online chat or that have been emailed in beforehand. There’s also a short RealPlayer video clip of Neil introducing himself.

I’m off to GenCon for the third year in a row. Won’t be back until August 14th, but I’m sure LucyAnne, Lance, and Evaine (our new newsie!) can hold up the fort while I’m gone.
