A clarification from Neil, in response to this TVGuide newsbite about Beowulf: Christopher Lambert (from Highlander movie fame) is not involved in the Gaiman/Avary Beowulf. Lambert’s movie is set in the future, while Neil and Roger’s is a direct adaptation of the saga.
It’s funny what you find when you’re replying to all your email that you haven’t touched in a month (I reply to friends quickly, others get put on hold – sorry). Beau Yarbrough emailed about his (her?) Neil Gaiman interview. (new URL)
Well imagine that… I was searching through the White Wolf web site for information on Aeon (their new RPG – I picked it up last week) and I find an interview that I don’t think I link to elsewhere.

I asked Neil about the email address that Avon Books has on their site – neil@gcu.com – and he replied that they have only forwarded three or four to him so far, so it’s not a good way of getting in touch with him.
Neil says: “BABYLON 5 episode 511 ‘THE DAY OF THE DEAD’ is all written. It’s a ghost story about religion, or a drama about comedy and the nature of metaphor, or something like that.”
Neil says: “The version of BEOWULF I wrote with Roger Avary will be made by Robert Zemeckis’s company IMAGEMOVERS, with Roger slated to direct.”
Canadians are in for a treat. I’ve discovered that the upcoming Canadian Sci-Fi channel, called “Space” will be showing Prisoners of Gravity twice a day, five days a week. Other shows schedule include Dr. Who, The X-Files, and a load of Star Trek. Here’s hoping they’ll also carry season five […]
